Gary Johnson is an Extension Professor with a focus on urban and community forestry at the University of Minnesota and the Coordinator of the Minnesota Tree Care Advocates program.
Ashley is the Volunteer Programs Coordinator for the Tree Care Advocates program. She works passionately to connect volunteers with the resources they need to be successful environmental stewards in their communities.
Ryan "DJ" Murphy
Ryan is a researcher at the University of Minnesota focusing on improving clonal propagation in elm as part of the U of M Elm Selection Program and exploring culinary and medicinal uses for the urban ginkgo. Ryan aims to bring interdisciplinary approach to his work in forestry and community engagement.

During her undergrad, Monica has worked to manage the UofM's urban and community forestry landscape nursery and has since moved to working on community engagement and a cost benefit study of different nursery stock.
Alex is an undergraduate research assistant at the Uof Msupporting the volunteer programs and assisting in data collection on the survival rate of newly planted trees.
Sam is a research assistant working on projects to understand what makes volunteer urban and community forestry programs successful. Working with volunteers makes his brain light up.
